Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Catering Sales Executive to join our team. As a Catering Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of catering events. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, a passion for food, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of catering events, from initial client contact to event execution
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients and vendors
- Analyze event requirements and develop customized proposals
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution
- Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, menu planning, equipment rentals, and transportation
- Oversee event setup, including decor, and seating arrangements
- Monitor event timelines and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire catering process
Requirements:
- Proven experience in high-volume catering
- Strong account management skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Proficiency in technology sales tools such as Salesforce or similar CRM software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
