Role and Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process vendor invoices through Bill.com and ensure invoices have appropriate documentation and approval.
• Create and submit invoices to customers.
• Verify and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Assist in collection of past due accounts.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Perform other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned or requested.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Strong financial acumen and thorough understanding of GAAP.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
• QuickBooks Online experience required.
• Paychex, Bill.com, and Divvy experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Analytical thinker with ability to anticipate and solve problems with sound judgement.
• Highly motivated and willing team player who is committed to process improvement & financial accuracy.
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.

This is a hybrid position that includes 2 days per week working at the Chesterfield office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
