SUMMARY
The Visual Merchandising/Events position is a full-time/in-office position where the associate will work closely with the Marketing and Visual teams while being responsible for coordinating and executing guest and vendor facing events and assisting with various duties for in-store implementation.
The ideal candidate will possess leadership qualities as they coordinate and execute plans to deliver exceptional in-store Bridal Showcase and Restyling event experiences. As part of this position, the candidate will also coordinate with in-mall marketing teams to promote our store events and handle all other mall advertising responsibilities which include event strategy, budget forecasting and reconciliation, organization of all logistics, coordination and negotiation with vendors, coaching and support to store associates, and in-house event management.
This position will work in a team atmosphere alongside the Visual Merchandising Department to assist with the fulfilling of marketing materials for the stores, in-case/in-store displays and decorations, P.O.P. materials and other visual needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build relationships with in-house departments to order materials for events, determine overall event strategy, messaging and goals.
• Coordinate details and logistics of event décor, appointments, set-up, packing/shipping, and tear down.
• Develop and manage a robust décor package for the events.
• Remain current with schedule to stay on track with planning and executing tasks.
• Train and educate store associates on proper event procedures.
• Develop improved measurement and post-event reporting process, analyze event performance, and prepare metrics presentation.
• Calculate budgets and adjust when necessary.
• Work with agency to promote the event to our guests and potential guests. (radio, TV, digital, and/or other media)
• Research and recommend latest innovations in event tools, experiences, and technology.
• Evaluate event plans and identify/resolve concerns.
• Initiate and engage in constant communication to all necessary individuals outlining event progress.
• Occasional travel to store locations, meetings, etc. as it relates to promotional events and Visual Merchandising related duties.
• Prepare and ship all restyle show materials.
• Post/promote events on mall, Rogers Enterprises, Inc., etc.
• Other duties as needed.
