e-Commerce Specialist

Ockers has been in business for 102 years, with seven different client-based divisions. While our core client base is Kindergarten through Grade 12 schools, we also provide next generation technology solutions for police, fire, and emergency response groups, municipalities, and small to medium sized businesses.

We are seeking an e-Commerce Specialist to create and implement successful online transaction strategies. The ideal candidate will research, organize, develop, and execute online marketing and sale of identified surplus items.

This role is expected to be in the office daily, during our standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities

· Create content to be published on e-Commerce sites or portals

· Establish standards and best practices for product listings

· Oversee product listings, inventory, order processing, item shipment, online payments, and customer service

· Develop tracking system to allow for real-time on-hand product knowledge

· Become a subject matter expert on how best to advertise and sell items

· Identify best practices regarding inventory management, pricing policies, market valuation, and negotiations

· Monitor changes in product sales by using web analytics and market pricing

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory and product accuracy

· Manage and maintain e-Commerce platforms, including product listings, pricing, and inventory management

· Partner with Purchasing, Sales, and Warehouse personnel to ensure inventory and in-house product accuracy

· Analyze sales data and research market trends

· Deliver SOPs to be followed for all e-Commerce advertisements and sales

· Perform other duties as requested

Required Skills and Experience:

· 3 years of experience in the e-Commerce industry with track record of driving online sales

· Degree in Marketing or relevant field is a plus

· 2 years of electronic equipment sales is a plus

· Expertise in managing product listings, inventory management, and pricing strategies

· Previous experience managing and maintaining e-Commerce sites or portals

· Familiarity within e-Commerce industry that includes maintaining sites or portals

· Awareness of various on-line platforms to reduce the on-hand supply of electronic equipment

· Implement online sales strategies to oversee digital transactions

· Strong internal and external customer service orientation

· Quick learner of new information in a high-volume environment

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

· Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

· Exceptional planning and organizational skills

· Proficient in Excel and MS Office

· Familiarity with ConnectWise Manage and/or Sage Intacct is a plus

The salary range for this role is $55,000 to $65,000, dependent on the candidate’s background, certifications, and experience.
