Job description
Safford Brown CJDR of Sterling is looking to hire a Pre-Owned Sales Manager to lead our Sales Teams and be actively involved in all aspects of the sales process.
Sales Manager Responsibilities
· Our managers are expected to lead from the front lines, manage and oversee activities
of variable operations.
· Effectively recruit, train, coach and manage the sales team to enhance sales and
maximize the customer experience in a cost-effective manner.
· Work with General Manager and front-end team to meet monthly targets for new/used
vehicles sales and manufacturer sponsored programs.
· Achieve manufacturer objectives for Customer Satisfaction and Retail Sales
Effectiveness.
· Display, merchandise and promotes new and used vehicle inventory.
· Maintain and control inventory management for new and used car department.
· Develop and mentor sales consultants, F&I managers, and other sales managers.
· Achieve Excellent customer service (CSI)
· Consistently work the sales desk leads, CRM opportunities, phone activity and service
drive to produce sales and trades.
· Effectively analyze and manage for strong store performance and profitability.
· Communicate and enforce dealership policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· We prefer a minimum of 3 year of leadership experience within the automotive
industry.
· Strong Desking, CRM, and Closing Skills Required.
· Strong Knowledge of Finance and Aftermarket.
· Must be proficient with automotive tools: Reynolds, CRM, Vauto, website etc.
· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions,
proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
· Requires exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to successfully
manage diverse teams within the store.
· Good organization skills.
· Detail oriented.
· Professional communication skills.
· Maintain valid driver's license and MVR within company policy requirements.
· Must be insurable.

· Safety and Security- the individual observes safety and security procedures and uses
equipment and materials properly.
