Do you have experience leading programs in a childcare or education setting? White Bear Lake Area Schools Community Education has an exciting opportunity for you in our Extended Day before/after school program! Our supervisors develop and implement programming that reflects diverse interests, talents and learning styles of our students.
Job responsibilities include:
Lead teams, support activities, manage program spaces, supervise and provide guidance for students in a large education site
Staff Hiring and Development
Establish positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, building and school district staff
Develops and fosters the implementation of individual behavior modification plans for children as needed
Provide a safe, caring, fun environment for children
Ensure compliance and completion of all site documentation and required paperwork
Pay & Schedule:
$58,300 - 63,200 annually based on education and experience. Contract under negotiation for 23-25 school years.
Full time Core hours are Monday - Friday 8:30-5:00 pm. Occasional morning program visits, along with evening and weekend event participation, are required to connect with staff, families and community members

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
One year experience in childcare, recreation, education, or youth development required
Experience with children with special needs
Experience of successfully leading programs in a childcare or education setting preferred
Supervisor Experience preferred.
Ability to work under minimal supervision
