Position Summary

Seeking teachers interested in utilizing new, creative, and innovative ways to support student achievement through through summer learning opportunities.

Program will focus on whole student growth and success, building and strengthening strong relationships with students and their families, and supporting social emotional learning.

Will be opportunity for some curriculum development and more influence in teaching content. Pre-summer training, prep time, and meetings will be paid time;

professional development and program design created in partnership with Student Support Services and Teaching & Learning.

Performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching services or specific learning program, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned.

Teachers will deliver small group and individualized instruction according to curriculum and plan guidelines; will maintain student records as it relates to student achievement including testing;

will monitor student behavior.

Education and / or Experience :

BA / BS degree and Middle school experience preferred.

Special Requirements :

MN Teaching License required
