1. DEFINITION :
Provides superior customer service to each guest and insures that their Fudpucker’s experience is exceeded.
Responsible for the setup, maintenance and operation of the Tiki bar. Communicates with management regarding ongoing inventory.
Receives cash drawer at beginning of work shift, and counts money in drawer at beginning and ending of shift to verify its accuracy.
Actively sells food, beverage and merchandise items by offering suggestions. Enters food, drink and merchandise orders into register, collects payment and makes change.
Collects cash, check or credit card payment from guests and makes change for cash transactions, checks identification for personal checks, and prepares voucher for credit card purchases.
Ensures an accurate accounting of all transactions, collections and disbursements.
Portions and prepares food items prior to cooking. Responsible for preparing all food and beverage items in an efficient fashion according to Fudpucker’s high quality standards.
Plates and garnishes prepared items. Responsible for maintaining a sanitary kitchen work area.
Takes drink orders from patrons or wait staff and prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes.
Checks photo identification to ensure the guest is of proper age to consume alcoholic beverages. Mixes ingredients for alcoholic and non-alcoholic and serves a variety of bottled beer and other non-alcoholic beverages.
May reconcile checks, cash receipts and charge sales with total sales to verify accuracy of transactions at the end of a work shift.
2. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Must be age 18 or older (unless state law permits younger age). High school graduate or equivalent desired.
2. Must possess excellent customer service skills including pleasant and friendly demeanor.
3. Must have basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, and be familiar with standard drink recipes.
4. Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money.
5. Must be able to communicate and understand the primary language(s) of the work location, and understand the primary language(s) of the guests who typically visit the work location.
6. Must be able to work flexible hours; Monday through Sunday for no more than a 25 week seasonal period.
7. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
3. ESSENTIONAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Receives cash bank at beginning of work shift and verifies accuracy by counting money in cash drawer and needs to change out any large bills to ensure enough change for the daily operation.
Ensures an accurate accounting of all transactions, collections and disbursements during work shift.
3. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION :
1. Must be able communicate clearly and listen attentively to supervisors, employees, and guest instructions.
2. Must be able to stand and exert well paced mobility for long periods of time and the ability to remain stationary for long periods of time.
3. Must be able to reach, bend, and stoop.
4. Must be able to work in hot conditions.
6. Must be able to follow directions.
7. Must possess dexterity for using small tools and equipment.
