SmartStart Academy is Hiring a HR Generalist (FT) Near Jersey, NJ
- Completing orientation and on-boarding documents for New Hires
- Must maintain Confidentiality of files and incidents
- Administer compensation and benefit plans
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Tracks PTO and additional vacation days
- Creates and maintain schedules for all school locations
- Hiring and Terminating employees as needed
- Assists with various research projects and/or special projects.
- Follow up on necessary documents for new and current hires in compliance with NJ licensing regulations.
- Conducting staff and administrative meetings on a monthly basis
- Processing Payroll on a bi-weekly basis
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- BS/BA in Business administration or relevant field
- 2 Year experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role
- Knowledge of NJ Child Care licensing regulations
- Additional HR training will be a plus
