SmartStart Academy is Hiring a HR Generalist Near Hoboken, NJ
- Completing orientation and on-boarding documents for New Hires
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Must maintain confidentiality of files and incidents
- Administer compensation and benefit plans
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies
- Tracks PTO and additional vacation days
- Creates and maintains schedules for all school locations.
- Assists with various research projects and/or special projects.
- Follow up on necessary documents for new and current hires in compliance with NJ licensing regulations.
- Conducting staff and administrative meetings on a monthly basis
- Processing Payroll on a bi-weekly basis
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a result-driven approach
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- BS/BA in Business administration or relevant field
- 2 years experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role
- Strong experience in handling all local, state, and federal regulations(pre-requisite)
- Knowledge of NJ Child Care licensing regulations
- Additional HR training will be a plus
