Research, Development and Technical Employees' Union is Hiring an Office Assistant Near Lexington, MA

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing calendars, and assisting with various office tasks. This is a part-time position.

Duties:
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Transcribe documents and correspondence
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
-Assist Office Manager , organize and manage Executive Board activities

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in office management or administrative roles preferred
- Proficient in using phone systems, copiers, printers, and other office equipment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills Website, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Word
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
