Position Overview:

As an Account Manager on the Sales team at Extenet, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Indoor Sales team through comprehensive CRM management, sales data analysisand administrative support. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects, including ensuring the accuracy and relevance of CRM records, providing essential audio/visual support for meetings, and providing overall support to the Indoor Sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Program and Process Improvements: Use strategic thinking to understand how sales support the overall organization and identify opportunities for enhanced processes and programs.
  • Problem Resolution and Cross-Collaboration:Identify challenges and ensure engagement of all required internal organizations to find solutions.
  • Contract Management: Collaborate with the legal department to review contract terms and financial obligations, ensuring compliance. Manage existing contracts and develop strategies to ensure accounts remain up to date.
  • Commencement Notices Oversight: Oversee the process of handling commencement notices.
  • Administrative Support:Support the Venue Salesteam with administrative and logistical support as needed, including the creation of content and materials for executive presentations and team meetings.
  • Presentation Support: Provide audio/visual assistance for presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Financial Reporting: Analyze sales financial records and compile information for financial reporting presentations clearly.
  • Accounts Payable Notifications: Manage notifications to accounts payable when a RevShareis triggered.
  • Customer Meeting Engagement: Attend customer meetings and assist in developing customer relationships that may result in customers awarding work to Extenet.
  • Ad Hoc Duties:Perform other sales and administrative duties as required to support Extenet’s sales objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in sales support, finance, business, or accounting required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred but not required.
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

  • CRM Expertise:Hands-on experience using sales platforms (e.g., CRM or Salesforce).
  • Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Software Proficiency:Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office – intermediate skills with Excel (pivot tables and formulas) and PowerPoint required.
  • Detail-Orientation:Must be detail-oriented – will be dealing with numbers, so accuracy is very important.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:Strong analytical, interpersonal, and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Project Management Skills:Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing priorities.
