Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Service Agent. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality service. Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist guests with reservations, room changes, and other requests
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and escalate issues as necessary
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Perform night audit duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality management or guest services is preferred
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations and phone systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with hotel management software is an asset
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
