We act as partners, aligning support strategies to achieve Jencap's broader objectives.

The HR Operations Partners will work remotely in CT, NJ or NY.

The HR Operations partner plays a key role in streamlining HR processes, supporting the efforts of the HR team and optimizing the employee experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. General HR Operations:
    • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes to optimize efficiency and operational effectiveness collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
    • Develop and maintain process workflows and other documentation.
    • Support special projects and initiatives related to HR operations and processes.
    • Ensure HR resources posted on the company intranet and are kept up-to-date.
    • Understand all aspects of the employee life cycle, helping to ensure seamless and standardized onboarding and offboarding.
  2. Technology, Data and Reporting:
    • Assist with the administration of various HR tools and systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS, TMS)
    • Maintain data integrity across systems and conduct regular audits, maintaining necessary confidentiality and data security.
    • Generate reports and analytics to support decision-making, monitor key HR metrics, review accuracy and completeness of data, and other purposes as requested.
    • Support with the identification and troubleshooting of current or potential issues related to systems and reporting.
    • Provide technical support to end users as needed.
  3. HR Policies and Compliance:
    • Ensure consistent application and understanding of company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
    • Support maintenance of employee handbook as well as the distribution and collection of signatures.
    • Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks.
    • Help identify opportunities to implement and/or change polices to stay current and competitive.
    • Assist with the preparing and filing of compliance reports as needed.
  4. Benefits and Compensation:
    • Support the administration of company benefits, including assisting with audits, annual testing and renewal/open enrollment.
    • Serve as an escalation point for employee benefit and claims issues/questions
    • Assist with annual compensation process as well as salary benchmarking and analysis.
  5. Employee Engagement & DEIB:
    • Propose, design, implement, and administer employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, etc.
    • Gather employee feedback and use it to drive improvements in the workplace and foster a positive culture.
    • Assist with DEIB initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred
  • 3 years of experience of HR experience, preferably in an operational, support or generalist capacity
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (such as VLOOKUP's for data analysis)
  • Experience working in HRIS and other systems (ADP Workforce and Greenhouse strongly preferred).
  • Knowledge of and experience with employment laws, regulations, and best practices as well as health and welfare plans.
  • Proactive and independent, with a strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Skilled at managing high-volume, competing demands with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
