Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The Retail Operations position involves welcoming customers, assisting with their needs,processing sales orders and returns, and ensuring smooth transactions using both cash and credit card payments. Beyond sales, responsibilities include coordinating with the Warehouse Manager to fulfill orders, educating customers on product usage, and following prescribed opening and closing procedures for the showroom.

Duties:

- 1. Greet the customers as they come into the store

2. Offer refreshments and or snacks to customers

3. Ask customers how we can help them

4. Show merchandise that they may be interested in

5. Process Sales Orders in Inflow WMS system

6. Process Returns in Inflow WMS system

7. Need to collect money from customers if they pay cash

8. Process credit card purchases in the POS in the showroom

9. Put items in the bag and thank customers for their purchase

10. If it is a large customer, offer them a gift box with marketing material (example: t-shirt,

hoodie, flashlight, keychains, pens, Starbucks gift cards, etc)

11. Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager to pick products that may not be in the

showroom

12. Needs to educate the customer how to use products (example: handcuffs, light bars,

pepper spray, etc)

13. Need to open and close the showroom as per the written process

Warehouse Operations:

The Retail Associate shall also assist in managing warehouse operations, including goods receipt,quality inspection, storage, packaging, delivery coordination, product returns, stock counting,record-keeping, and maintaining cleanliness. Additionally, this role involves arranging external services like tailoring or printing, creating and tracking service orders, arranging samples, and conducting supplier performance evaluations, all while ensuring compliance with quality standards and operational efficiency in an on-site setting.

1. Oversee the receiving of incoming goods, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

2. Conduct incoming quality inspections to ensure products meet company and regulatory

standards.

3. Manage the labeling, tagging, sorting, and stacking of goods in appropriate warehouse

locations.

4. Coordinate the packaging of goods and arrange for customer deliveries through third-

party courier services like UPS or EasyPost.

5. Handle product returns, ensuring a smooth process for both the company and the

customer.

6. Perform periodic stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy and minimize

discrepancies.

7. Maintain rigorous records of warehouse operations and ensure general housekeeping

standards are met to keep a clean and safe working environment.

8. Liaise with vendors for tailoring, printing, and other services, including obtaining quotes,

placing orders, and tracking shipments.

9. Create service orders and ensure the timely and quality completion of services.

10. Arrange samples as necessary, obtaining the required approvals for production.

11. Dispose products according to the recycling / disposal procedures where needed

12. Conduct supplier performance analysis to ensure they meet the company’s standards

and work on improving supplier relationships and performance.

Qualifications

● Experience in warehouse management, logistics, or quality control are a plus.

Skills Needed:

● Strong leadership and team management skills.

● Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

● Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Google Office Suite.

● Strong analytical skills for quality inspection and supplier performance analysis.

● Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external

suppliers.

Experience

● A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a security guard or a similar role, with a proven

track record in quality control and warehouse management.

● Experience in managing third-party logistics services and supplier relations is desired.

Physical Requirements

● This is an on-site position, requiring the ability to frequently walk, stand, lift, and move

heavy items.

● Ability to work under pressure in a warehouse environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
