Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and motivated Power BI/SharePoint Developer to join our team. If you have a passion for designing and developing SharePoint websites, creating customized solutions, and building interactive Power BI dashboards, we want to hear from you! This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with a skilled team, and make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop SharePoint websites using SharePoint Designer or web UI development tools.
• Create customized SharePoint solutions for front-end use.
• Configure and customize SharePoint systems according to company specifications.
• Build scalable web applications and write, modify, and debug code.
• Train staff on using SharePoint and Power BI solutions.
• Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
• Perform detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI scripts.
• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• Extend SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies.
• Run DAX queries and functions in Power BI.
• Build multi-dimensional data models.
• Analyze previous and present data for better decision-making.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 3-4 years of experience in a SharePoint developer role using SharePoint Online/O365 and SharePoint On-Premise 2013/2016.
• 3-4 years of experience with a self-service tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
• MOSS or WSS certification.
• Experience in SharePoint framework, building sites in hybrid environments, and developing and administrating.
• Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active Public Trust security clearance with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Healthcare background.
• Government background.
