Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, providing exceptional service to a diverse automotive customer base.

Duties:
- Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
- Provide accurate information about products and services
- Assist customers with order placement, tracking, and issue resolution
- Conduct outbound calls for follow-ups and upselling opportunities
- Perform data entry and maintain customer records
- Analyze customer feedback to improve service quality

Qualifications:
- 5 years of sound experience in Customer Service/Logistics of production processes within the automotive and automotive supply industries.

· Demonstrated knowledge of customer portal tools from: Ford, VW, BMW, Volvo

· An understanding of customer specific web sites that have any information needed to ship and perform to expectation.

· Maintain 100% ship performance to all customers and maintain the single point of contact for all shipping issues.

·Candidates with SAP and/or PLEX knowledge and experience will receive 1st consideration.

Functions / Responsibilities

· Be the contact for all of the customers of IAS to include disputing of charges, deductions in delivery scores, as well as submission of required corrective actions to the customer, directly or through customer portals/supplier sites.

· Assist with required set ups for new production in SAP and PLEX, as well as troubleshooting issues that arise regarding the shipment of material to customers.

· Act as back up for other customer services roles.

· Setup all shipments to all customers for any part owed from pre-series, series, and service requirements.

· Knowledge of SAP's shipping system for labelling and inventory usage of product being shipped.

· Manage outbound miscellaneous shipments using local carriers, UPS, FedEx, or other designated carriers for domestic or international requirements.

· Communicate to customers all requirements and issues regarding containers if/as required per customer.

· Set up all shipments to the customers and advise with as much notice as possible of all spot shipments. Customer parts thru service are all covered with their unique requirements.

· Manage and understand customer sites to get information for ratings, labelling, and packaging, and general requirements to ship in compliance and on-time.

· Daily review of all customer releases notifying key plant managers of what is due and when requirements are covered through normal production. This includes drop-ins and pre-series parts including ones currently at die shops

· Verify and advise all inventory differences from the physical count to the system.
