Are you passionate about creating beautiful smiles and helping patients achieve their best oral health? NELA Orthodontics is looking for a dedicated dental assistant/receptionist to join our dynamic team! Dental experience preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

2-4 Days/week depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Take panoramic and cephalometric x-rays
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care for braces or other orthodontic appliances.
• Provide chairside assistance in clinical procedures
• Assist in front desk duties as needed - phone calls and scheduling patients
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.

Skills:

• Dental assistant certification or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in orthodontics is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with social media a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team and provide excellent patient care.
• Proficiency in using digital imaging and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
