Days:

3-4 days/week depending on experience.

Clinic Days vary weekly:

Mon/Tues/Thurs 1 admin day or Mon/Wed/Thurs 1 admin day

*must be willing to travel to an office in South Gate on Mondays

Responsibilities:

• Provide chairside assistance to orthodontist during procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort.
• Supervise and mentor orthodontic assistant team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Assist with training new staff members on orthodontic procedures, office protocols, and patient care standards.
• Oversee inventory management
• Collaborate with the doctor and office manager to optimize scheduling, patient flow, and workflow efficiency.

Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Orthodontic Assistant, with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Certification in orthodontic assisting (OA) or RDA required.
• Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in taking dental impressions, intraoral scans, X-rays, and assisting with orthodontic procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with Ortho2 software a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
