This is gratuity based at $5.00 (bartend) per hour.

Schilling Beer Co. is seeking dedicated seasonal bartenders in a part-time or full-time capacity. The ideal candidate has a sense of urgency, positive approach to the workplace and teammates, and the ability to provide an exceptional guest experience! Compensation based on experience, gratuity facing opportunities, access to company sponsored 401K plan with company match up to 4% (depending on your contribution amount), and employee discount.

This seasonal position would be available to start in April / May timeframe, with the potential opportunities to stay on as a permanent employee after the summer and fall months.

What to expect :

• Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that guests enjoy a memorable, world-class experience at our brewery.
• Educate customers about our beer offerings and assist with menu selections.
• Ensure orders are taken, prepared, and delivered accurately to customers.
• Pour and serve beverages in appropriate glassware.
• Meticulously handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Handling a fast-paced atmosphere with a sense of urgency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the bar, server, and dining sections.
• Follow all responsible beverage service guidelines and comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with the FOH team and Manager on Duty (MOD) to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Ensuring responsible service of alcohol to customers, in accordance with State of NH law, and making sure all FOH staff is doing the same.
• Performance check-ins at the 30-day and 60-day mark.

Qualifications : The ideal candidate for this role possesses :

• 1-3 years of bartending or serving experience (experience in both is a plus).
• A positive, upbeat attitude and a friendly demeanor.
• Strong initiative and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Compassion and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Multi-tasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to lift approximately 40-50 lbs.
• Open and flexible availability to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends / holidays.
• The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
