Westminster Village Terre Haute is Hiring an Assistant Business Office Manager Near Terre Haute, IN

TITLE: Assistant Business Office Manager

EXEMPT STATUS: Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO: Business Office Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Assistant Business Office Manager is responsible for data entry, clerical support duties, assisting in the day-to-day coordination, collection and billing inquires from IL residents, entering payment received, processing monthly statement and operation of the AP/payroll department.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES:

Essential Job Duties:

  • Reviews accounts payable invoices for accuracy and generates payables payments weekly.
  • Collection, billing inquires, and entering payment for community IL residents.
  • Process and mail monthly statements.
  • Maintains and disperse timely debt service payments.
  • Maintains records for the Community as assigned.
  • Prepares special reports upon request and regularly informs supervisor regarding the status of accounts and financial activity.
  • Distribute W-2’s
  • Process and submits 1099’s
  • Miscellaneous HR responsibilities

Other Duties:

  • Runs necessary reports. Maintains backup and support documents.
  • Files paperwork.
  • Assists in preparation of monthly private statements, with additional private billing responsibilities.
  • Assists in other office and facility functions as directed
  • Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School education with knowledge of accounting and office machines.

2. Experience in payroll processing, accounts payable and general office/business procedures helpful.

3. Data entry or personal computer experience necessary.

4. Accounting experience helpful.
