Schneider Electric invites you to join our innovative team as a Federal Systems Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our Agency Account Business Development Managers, Federal Account Executives, Inside Sales Representatives, and Specialized Sales Teams to drive growth and efficiency in electrical energy management for the Federal Government.

What will you do?

• Conduct detailed engineering surveys at customer sites to determine project specifications and devise effective solutions integrating Schneider Electric products and services.
• Oversee the lifecycle of projects from installation to commissioning, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to project timelines.
• Build and nurture lasting relationships with essential technical influencers among end-users.
• Provide expert post-sales technical support, guaranteeing ongoing customer satisfaction.
• Continuously update and maintain a high level of knowledge related to electrical infrastructure, sustainability, critical power solutions, cooling, and associated technologies.

What qualifications will make you successful? 

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Profound understanding of data center physical infrastructure elements such as power distribution, precision cooling, and IT rack layouts, alongside management software.
• Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in technical sales or related fields, particularly with a background in solutions design and an in-depth knowledge of IT products.
• Solid familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations, Unified Facilities Criteria, and other relevant codes.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, both locally and regionally.
