Rise is a vegan, gluten free, soy free and dye free bakery located on the westside of Grand Rapids! We make pastries and savories to enjoy in our cafe or on our patio. Rise also offers catering for weddings and events and specializes in cakes and other traditional pastries made with plant based and gluten free ingredients. We also package and sell our baked goods to grocery stores and coffee shops across the state of Michigan.

We are looking to add a part time front of house associate to our team! See the hours, requirements, and benefits listed below, and then complete the application so we can learn a bit more about you!

Fixed schedule would be the following:
- Saturday & Sundays // 9am - 5pm
Mondays thru Fridays off, unless other staff members are sick or on vacation, then hours would be temporarily flexed if you're available for coverage. We do prefer that the selected candidate has availability to pick up shifts on their off days when needed!

Requirements:
- Food handling and dish washing experience is required.
- Customer service experience is required.
- Must have open availability for the hours listed above, additional availability for coverage is nice to have but not required.

We are looking for an outgoing individual to be the face of Rise Authentic Baking Company! This position entails checking customers out at the register, packing up pastry and coffee orders, restocking pastries, keeping a clean dining/patio space and connecting with the community. It is important to us to find a candidate that is outgoing, personable, and has experience in customer service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
