Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Business Development located in Gibbsboro, NJ. The Director of Business Development will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with New Business Development, Business Planning, Lead Generation, Contract Negotiation, and Account Management.
- Sell warehousing software solutions to new prospects
- Upsell additional software modules to current customers
- Update company Zoho CRM with all sales activities
- Generate proposals and related sales documents for prospects and customers
- Attend industry trade shows and events to support lead generation for sales
- Travel to potential customer locations for sales presentations
Qualifications
- New Business Development and Account Management skills
- Experience in Business Planning and Contract Negotiation
- Lead Generation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in the distribution or logistics industry is a plus
