Pita Bowl is Hiring a Food Service Manager Near Lindenhurst, NY

Duties:

- Oversee all aspects of food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and food presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper food handling and preparation techniques
- Monitor quality of food products and ensure consistency in taste and presentation
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
- Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability

Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food management or a related field
- Strong culinary background with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Proven track record in managing a high-volume restaurant or food service establishment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
