Position Description:
This individual will be responsible for managing projects in northwest Washington for NABC. This region includes, but is not limited to King, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, Island, and San Juan Counties. Project management generally involves hands-on technical support in the areas of access to market, access to capital, organizational development, and infrastructure development. The project manager will work with producers and ag-related businesses to assist in identifying and quantifying opportunities, challenges and obstacles to success, and developing, implementing, and supporting, the ongoing implementation of solutions related to business development.
Project manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with regional public and private agencies, organizations, and entities. Project manager will leverage collaborative relationships to create positive results which will directly advance the agricultural economy.
Experience creating and implementing business plans for agriculture-related business is required.
Experience with grant writing is strongly preferred. A background that includes a working knowledge of regional financial and educational support organizations would be beneficial. Candidate must be a self-motivated individual that requires minimal supervision.

This position will work from an office located in Mt. Vernon with remote work options.

This is a salaried exempt position based in northwest Washington, and reports to the Executive Director. Candidate will work independently with regular periodic interaction with staff. This position is not responsible for managing people and will work directly with the Executive Director to set priorities and manage expectations.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
