Madison builds entrepreneurially driven, branded market leaders that are committed to making the world safer, healthier, and more productive by creating innovative solutions that deliver outstanding customer value.Job Summary:The Account Manager will be responsible for meeting monthly and annual sales targets by expanding our presence amongst Veteran Administration Medical Centers (VAMC) across North America and other key accounts as assigned. This role will develop and execute the strategic and tactical plans necessary to achieve sales objectives, working alongside commercial colleagues to create effective sales and marketing tools that drive awareness and adoption of phototherapy amongst prescribers and healthcare administrators. This role requires regular interaction with physicians through phone, email, and in-person visits to provide education and product training to grow inbound prescription volume at underrepresented locations while also strengthening relationships amongst the current prescribers. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and extremely self-driven to meet assigned objectives, possess excellent communication skills, and display professionalism and integrity at all times. 
This role will be based at our global headquarters in Beachwood, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leveraging internal data and externally supplied research, develop and actively manage a target list of potential prescribers whose patients would benefit from phototherapy treatments made possible with our medical devices.
  • Achieve annual prescription volume and close rate targets through the development of new prescribers, maintenance of existing ones, and improving the overall quality of incoming prescriptions through prescriber communication and market education.
  • Actively monitor and formally report on the status of incoming prescriptions. Identify, understand, and act on data trends to improve the frequency and quality of received prescriptions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with prescribing physicians through regular, proactive communication and responsiveness. Obtain customer feedback to define product enhancements, new support services, and enable other strategic initiatives.
  • Drive business efficiencies, cost savings, and positive physician experiences through internal process improvements and the introduction of new technologies.
  • Support cross-functional business development activities to improve prescription close rates and patient access to devices, including the expansion of in-network insurance providers.
  • Working independently and in collaboration with the marketing function, develop and deliver communications to educate patients and prescribers on the benefits of phototherapy and value proposition of our devices and support services. Provide training as needed to prescribers in device operation and maintenance, and the use of digital services including the prescription code renewal website.
Requirements: 
  • 2 years of account management experience
  • Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to deliver effective presentations in person or over video calls
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite & Salesforce
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Fastidious attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong ability to multitask and work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to display integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
  • Domestic travel up to 30% may be required meet with key decision makers.
  • PREFERRED: Associates degree or above
