As the Office first point of contact with the public, this position based at the front desk is accountable for greeting all persons who contact MAPS and ensuring that they are promptly and appropriately referred. The Office Assistant is also responsible for addressing and resolving office maintenance and operational issues in a timely fashion. Duties include: directing clients to services, setting-up client appointments, answering multi-line phone system, organizing office, faxing, ordering supplies, maintenance of daily cash logs, and providing general support to programs. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, a pleasant demeanor, and strong ethics with a desire to excel.
Required: High School diploma, excellent oral, written and computer skills; bilingual/bicultural in Portuguese/English.
