Under the direct supervision of the Director of Athletics and the general supervision of the building principal, the softball coach organizes, coordinates, and promotes a comprehensive program of softball instruction that is designed to meet the needs and interest of the school community.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned

Special Knowledge and Skills:
 General knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures
 Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules
 Specific knowledge of subjects assigned
 General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
 Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
 Strong organizational, communications and interpersonal skills
 Strong problem solving skills
