The company remains family owned and professionally managed.Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for assisting in the operation of a department. An individual in this department will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and/or as necessary. Candidate is responsible to inspect and process freight in a safe and correct manner, detail oriented, and good with reading numbers. Load, unload, fills orders, packs, processes, and verifies freight in an accurate and timely manner. Forklift Operators Needed!Weekend shift available - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 5AM-completionRESPONSIBILITIES:Load/unload trucks in a fast paced environment.Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates)Maintain quality and accuracy of inventory by inspecting freight and products for correct quantities and conditions, and moving freight manually or with powered equipment.Ensure LOS goals are met for unloading trailers by monitoring unloaders and arrival times.Inform management about unsafe working conditions, damaged products, or improper procedures in the facility.Use freight handling equipment in a safe and correct manner.Enter and locate information on a computer or system communication deviceQualificationsPrior warehousing experience1 year of Forklift ExperienceDetail oriented and good with reading numbersAble to use adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing to correctly verify incoming freightLifting 50 poundsGreat Communication skillsAdditional InformationJoin the ranks of a highly rated, family and community oriented, stable and growing 3rd party logistics company!
