The company remains family owned and professionally managed.Job DescriptionDay Shift Verifier Needed!Full-time, day shift, must be able to work on Sundays.This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of a department. An individual in this department will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and/or as necessary. Candidate is responsible to inspect and process freight in a safe and correct manner, detail oriented, and good with reading numbers. Load, unload, fills orders, packs, processes, and verifies freight in an accurate and timely manner. Responsibilities:- - Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates)- - Maintain quality and accuracy of inventory by inspecting freight and products for correct quantities and conditions, and moving freight manually or with powered equipment.- - Ensure LOS goals are met for unloading trailers by monitoring unloaders and arrival times.- - Inform management about unsafe working conditions, damaged products, or improper procedures in the facility.- - Use freight handling equipment in a safe and correct manner.- - Enter and locate information on a computer or system communication device.Qualifications- Prior warehousing experience*- Detail oriented and good with reading numbers- Able to use adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing to correctly verify incoming freight- Available to work Sundays- Lifting 50 pounds- Communication skillsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
