Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated, capable, and experienced, board certified Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Neurosurgery team at ProHealth Care in Waukesha, WI. The APP will collaborate with a neurosurgeon to coordinate patient care, including facilitating the progress of the patient through the complex healthcare system and ensuring continuity of care. Patient care is coordinated within a multi-disciplinary team that follows evidence-based practice and clinical practice guidelines. The APPs primary role will be focused on the outpatient clinic but the APP will have the opportunity for a comprehensive role that includes inpatient rounding and surgery cross-training. The APP will work full time, either 4X10 hour days or 5X8 hour days. To be successful in this role, the successful candidate should exhibit exceptional customer service abilities to align with Goodman Campbell’s dedication to a positive patient experience. Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing with National Certification as an Adult, Acute Care, or Family Nurse Practitioner or Masters from an accredited Physician Assistant Program and national certification from NCCPA or AAPA
Licensure and Certification: Requires current unlimited Wisconsin State license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant
Preferred Experience: Previous APP experience within an emergency department, trauma service, surgery service line, critical care, or neurosurgical service line is preferred. While experience is preferred, a newly graduated APP will be considered with applicable clinical experience in critical care, emergency department, or another neuro-specialty.
