Upscale Luxury Boutique Hotel located off Southside Boulevard looking to hire a qualified employee for the Night Audit position. Must have strong experience in customer service with a proven track record in the ability of providing an excellent guest experience; particularly in challenging situations and completely reports with a excellent degree of accuracy and timeliness.
Key responsibilities include and not limited to:
* Completing reports for the end of the business day and inspecting/auditing for issues and sharing with appropriate channels.
* Checking guests in and out of the hotel in a efficient, courteous and professional manner.
* Answering the telephone in a professional manner and assisting guests with any questions, directions, or anything else they inquire about.
* Maintaining cleanliness of front desk, lobby including lobby restroom.
* Interacting with hotel associates in a professional manner, assisting other departments as necessary.
* Communicating with all departments regarding any special guest requests/needs and ensuring they are noted and fulfilled.
* Managing and resolving all guest complaints and compliments in a professional and courteous manner.
* Promoting and selling special hotel programs, special rate packages and upgrades when appropriate.* Maintaining accuracy of data in computer.
* Maintaining an up to date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special events.

Minimum qualifications:
Ideally, you'll have at least two years of experience in a Hotel Front Office environment and have a reputation for delivering excellent service. Preferably we are looking for general computer knowledge and OPERA experience with certification; however we will train the right candidate.
* High school degree or equivalent.
* Clean record, no criminal convictions.
* General knowledge of Jacksonville geography and local venues; or strong willingness to learn
* Pleasant demeanor.
* Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner.
* Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice, while always having a high level of patience and empathy.
Hours:
* Must be flexible and able to work a varied schedule during the shift 10pm -6am; including weekends and holidays.
