Haney Packaging is seeking an experienced Logistics Technician to work part-time at our world-class Packaging Microfactory located in Mariemont, Ohio.

Part Time Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm *Additional hours required based on production needs
Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 5 years’ experience in the related field
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret internal and external communications to perform job duties
• Effective interpersonal skills and team player
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to determine “root cause” of problem and determine corrective action
• Excellent mechanical aptitude with advanced computer required
• Must occasionally be able to lift and/or move 75 pounds
• Forklift Certified

Responsibilities

• Truck loads – schedule shipment/trucks, make dock times, wrap finished product, create BOL’s, load

and unload shipments/trucks, take pictures of loaded truck when needed, apply trailer seal when
required, notify appropriate individuals of incoming materials, deliver materials to proper internal
location, update EPMS shipping with BOL and picture

• Small local shipments – schedule local carrier for pick up or delivery, fill out local carrier paperwork,

fill out Haney label for each piece going out, BOL’s if needed, notify individuals of incoming materials,
deliver materials to proper department, update EPMS shipping

• Small shipments (FedEx, UPS, DHL) – schedule everyday shipping of small projects, national or international, make address labels, receive all shipments, notify appropriate individuals or deliver incoming materials to proper location, update EPMS shipping
• Work collaboratively with EPMS Inventory team to develop and maintain logical, efficient and effective warehousing system for inbound raw materials, staging for inspection and outbound finished goods
• Record all time in EPMS job tracking and verify accuracy of Logistics Technician record keeping in EPMS
• Manage all inventory and assist with estimates for shipping cost for projects
• Maintain count in internal warehouse and external warehouse, publish new inventory report as needed
• Maintain pallet wrapper, forklift and dock plate. Annual (PM) inspection
• Maintain proper stock shipping materials levels and place orders when more are required
• Stage material needed for projects
• Maintain recycling material, schedule pickups
• Maintain the shipping / receiving log daily (everything in and out of the building)
• Organize and maintain employee product release
• Maintain all Rumpke schedules, schedule any extra needs
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse following all SOP’s
