The Closing Manager of Rowdy Hall will work closely with the GM, leading operations. They work with the General Manager and Chef to ensure all food, beverage, service and physical spaces are up to the standards, as set by Honest Man Hospitality.
The Closing Manager will be required to work a 5-day work week, with two consecutive days off, averaging 50 hours. This position is a salaried role with full benefits, including health insurance, participation in profit share, 401k, dental and vision insurance, PTO, Sick Pay, generous employee discounts in your location and the other restaurants in our group.
The Closing Manager of Rowdy is someone who –
· Is positive, hardworking, motivated individual who thrives working alongside their team in a high volume, fast paced environment
· Has a passion for providing top notch hospitality to our guests and staff alike
· Has experience in supervisory roles within the hospitality industry – experience managing or maintaining a beverage program is a plus but not required
· Is interested in continuing to learn and grow
· Has excellent communication and service skills
· Has an enthusiastic willingness to learn and lead
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
· Assist General Manager in training and development of FOH team, contributing thoughts & ideas on how to impact service and hospitality for our daily line ups, and executing & enforcing those ideas with our staff during shift
· Drive strong closes, motivating the team and working alongside them to ensure successful shifts
· Manage payroll process and maintain organization of timecards in Toast throughout the week -- checking hours and auto clock-outs, correct job codes.
· Financial responsibility including but not limited to daily cash reconciliation and accurate upkeep and entry of tip sheet files
· Assist the General Manager with various facets of the beverage program, including - daily maintenance and organization of bar-specific spaces (keg room, liquor cage, behind the bar, walk in), monitoring execution of the prep list by the staff and ensuring they are maintaining proper product levels behind the bar, light assistance in ordering of N/A beverage (coffee, tea, milks), Mug Club member organization & communication.· Maintenance of all physical spaces and assist in upholding the standards of cleanliness and organization of all FOH spaces on a daily basis
