The responsibilities for the Sales Manager of Fruitland's Museum in Harvard, MA include but are not limited to:

• Be responsible for responding to client inquiries in a timely manner.
• Conduct prospective client tours of the property
• Be available by phone and email to clients
• Generate proposals and follow up on all sales leads in a timely fashion.
• Meet with clients to plan events include the detailing of menu, timeline, floorplan design and event specific provisions.
• Works with 3rd party vendors to communicate venue expectations, coordinate delivery times, etc.
• Works closely with venue partners to ensure there is a good working relationship between both parties.
• Manage all client billing and payments.
• Organize and execute tastings with clients.
• Work with the Operations Team on a weekly basis to communicate information related to current Catering Event Orders.
• Attend client’s events to ensure proper execution.
• Attend weekly and monthly team meetings.
• Report progress of catering sales as applicable.
• Address client issues regarding food and/or service.

What does it take to be a Sales Manager?

• 3 Years Catering Sales Experience
• Strong communication skills are required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Proficient with Caterese Software
• Strong sense of customer service
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
