The Role

Donorbox is passionate about empowering nonprofits to raise more funds through a smooth and secure giving experience. We offer a complete payment platform that integrates with various payment processors, and we're excited to launch our own processor, Donorbox Pay. We handle donations via credit cards, bank transfers, local payment methods, cryptocurrencies, and even stock donations.

We're seeking a passionate and strategic Senior Product Manager to join our growing team and lead the charge in evolving our payments strategy. You'll be instrumental in shaping the future of how nonprofits accept donations around the world.

Responsibilities

• Craft and implement a comprehensive payments strategy that optimizes the donation experience for nonprofits globally.
• Deep dive into the payments landscape through research and analysis. Identify emerging trends, new payment methods, and how these differ by region.
• Spearhead the product development and go-to-market strategy for Donorbox Pay. Ensure it stands out from the competition and integrates seamlessly with the Donorbox platform.
• Negotiate with payment vendors to help us secure the best deals
• Monitor existing integrations with various payment processors, ensuring optimal performance and a smooth user experience.
• Collaborate with different teams (engineering, marketing, sales, and compliance) to guarantee a unified and successful payments strategy.
• Gain a thorough understanding of global payment regulations and compliance requirements, staying up-to-date.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and user behavior to measure the success of our payments strategy and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead a team of talented developers and a designer.
• Leverage your advanced spreadsheet skills to analyze the Return on Investment (ROI) of various payment methods.
• Oversee our billing and product upgrade strategy.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5 years of product management experience, ideally within payments, e-commerce, or billing
• Proven track record of successfully developing and launching payment products or billing features.
• Strong grasp of global payment methods, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience working with various payment processors and gateways including Stripe and PayPal
• Passionate about the nonprofit sector and driven to make a positive impact.
• A global mindset that understands the diverse needs of organizations worldwide
• A keen eye for clean UX design, especially for complex forms.
• Great at analyzing different payment scenarios & cost structures via spreadsheets.

Details

• Fully remote based in Canada/ US (CT/ET working hours), Latin America, or Western Europe
• Salary: $90k-$150k, depending on experience and location
