Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Business Development Center (BDC) Manager. We are a family-owned automotive group operating multiple stores in North Louisiana. We are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a positive work environment.

As the BDC Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our business by overseeing the operations of our Business Development Center. You will lead a team of BDC representatives, ensuring that they deliver outstanding service to our customers and support our sales and marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of BDC representatives to achieve performance targets and provide exceptional service.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to support team development and success.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
  • Operations Management:
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize BDC operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the BDC, including inbound and outbound calls, email communications, and appointment scheduling.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service Excellence:
  • Ensure that BDC representatives deliver a high level of customer service at all times, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, seeking resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Implement best practices and standards to enhance the customer experience and build long-term relationships with customers.
  • Sales and Marketing Support:
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies to generate leads, drive sales, and increase dealership traffic.
  • Coordinate with sales managers and staff to ensure seamless transitions of leads from the BDC to the sales team.
  • Utilize CRM systems and tools effectively to track leads, follow up with customers, and maintain accurate records.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze BDC performance metrics and trends to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on BDC performance, including lead conversion rates, appointment show rates, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Make data-driven recommendations for process improvements and strategic initiatives to enhance BDC effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in automotive BDC management or similar role preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
