Cook County Offices Under the President is Hiring a COMPLIANCE ANALYST (OFFICE OF CONTRACT COMPLIANCE) Near Chicago, IL

Handle moderately complex compliance initiatives and activities for the Office of Contract Compliance. Ensure efficient and successful implementation of responsibilities outlined in specified policies, procedures, laws, ordinances, programs, and projects. Serve as a liaison between Bureaus/Departments to address issues and assist with identifying and assessing areas of risk and non-compliance. Investigate complaints of non-compliance and perform audits. Work with metrics and prepare statutory reports. Respond to inquiries and assist with the conducting of trainings to increase compliance awareness. Escalate to others for more complex situations, resolutions, and policies. Manage data, including the control, organization, and maintenance of filing systems and records.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree and
  • Two (2) years of investigation, audit, compliance, or directly related experience or
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • Degrees awarded outside of the United States with the exception of those awarded in one of the United States territories and Canada, must be credentialed by the World Education Services (WES), Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) or a National Association of Credential Evaluation (NACES) member organization.

Skill in investigating, gathering, analyzing, and assessing actions and decisions, reviewing sensitive or confidential materials, information, and incidents of record, and preparing reports. Ability to perform moderately complex compliance work independently and collaboratively with consistent and reliable productivity and accuracy. Ability to communicate both verbally and in written formats. Ability to organize various information from different sources and formats. Ability to demonstrate initiative and self-motivation, pay attention to detail, multitask, and prioritize effectively. Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Skill in executing moderately complex data collection, synthesis, analysis, reporting, and development of recommendations to support functional area(s), where analysis is often procedural and straightforward. Ability to provide support and collaborate with team members and entry-level management to drive accuracy and precision in analysis. Knowledge of procedural analytical practices to perform moderate studies and continually adopt new methods.
