We are Comprehensive Care Services , one of the country’s largest Medical Perfusion Staffing Companies, with employees currently located in 24 states. Our business is a critical partner to hospital service providers, and we are currently experiencing rapid expansion.

We are in search of a Human Resources Generalist to serve as a designated H.R. Partner for a group of employees who will be covering assignments throughout the country. This position will have a heavy emphasis on securing credentials for individuals in multiple states. This position will also serve as a back-up to the Benefits Administrator. Job responsibilities for this position include performing all aspects of H.R. functions, including but not limited to the following:

  • Facilitating the complete hiring process from recruitment to orientation
  • Securing appropriate credentials for staff at facilities in the U. S.
  • Assisting in the development of policies & procedures and job descriptions
  • Maintaining required files and records via electronic and physical methods
  • Collaborating with the Payroll department to ensure proper set-up and maintenance of shared Kronos H.R./Payroll database
  • Participating in annual projects and programs, including Open Enrollment, Annual Review Process, and Joint Commission Preparedness
  • Facilitating the training of staff, including leadership development
  • Providing coaching and counseling on H.R. issues
  • Serving as a primary source of H.R. support for assigned employees and supervisors
  • Providing back-up and support to the Benefits Administrator, including Benefits Enrollment and LOA/FMLA functions

This position is strongly based in the ability to build trust and relationships with employees at all levels, including Executive Leadership, primarily through phone and/or email communication. Accordingly, a professional and service-centered demeanor with staff, customers and vendors is a must. Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of the standards and practices of H.R., including general regulatory requirements
  • Experience with the following Credentialing Systems is strongly preferred:
    • V-Pro
    • eDHP (Healthtrust)
    • Symplr
    • Vendormate
    • Reptrax
    • Hospital Staffing (direct, location based credentialing)
  • Experience in Benefits Administration, including but not limited to enrollment processes, FMLA /LOA processes, and Worker's Comp/OSHA reporting
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment or work as a team member as the situation mandates
  • Commitment to upholding and reinforcing company policies and procedures, including the ability to deliver difficult messages
  • Ability to Manage workflow and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively, while dealing with rapid change and interruption
  • Strong communication skills, especially the ability to educate and inform employees and supervisors
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills, including strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Availability to travel periodically as needed for group onboarding (less than 10% of the time)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
