RN Quality Assurance Director

Community PACE at Home in Newaygo is looking for a full-time Quality Assurance RN. This position is in-person, and the primary purpose of the QA Director is to oversee the overall quality of participant care at Community PACE at Home. The best suited person for this position must thrive in a team environment, must be self-motivated, must be well organized, must be able to handle difficult and multiple tasks at one time. Requirements:

· Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

· 1 year experience working with the frail elderly population.

· Currently licensed RN in Michigan and CPR certification.

· Cleared for communicable diseases before engaging in direct patient contact.

· Valid Michigan Driver License and vehicle.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for assisting IDT with improving the quality of participant care.

· Collaborate with IDT to develop a quality organizational plan, quality work plan, annual QAPI program effectiveness review, participant/caregiver satisfaction survey, and written analysis.

· Participates in the grievance and appeal process, including preparing a hearing summary and presenting testimony in the scheduled appeal.

· Performs data collection, analysis, and reporting as required by CMS agreements.

Pay: Based on experience and negotiable
