Brockton Visiting Nurse Association is Hiring a Concierge Officer Near Brockton, MA

The Concierge Officer is responsible for providing the highest quality customer service to all employees and guests. As the first point of contact you play a crucial role in ensuring all guests feel welcomed and valued. As an ideal candidate, you have proven customer service experience managing the front office while dually maintaining security for the Agency and accompanying clinical team members on security visits as needed.

The Concierge Officer will exemplify the BVNA Way by modeling professional presentation and communication while provide unparalleled hospitality to guests and team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· The Concierge Officer sets the role model for teamwork, positive attitudes, and high morale.

· The Concierge Officer will oversee the reception area and provide administrative support for the Human Resources as needed.

· The Concierge Officer will answer telephones promptly and professionally, direct calls to the appropriate team, greet incoming guests, accept deliveries, and provide administrative support for Human Resources as needed. Greet and direct all visitors in a professional and helpful manner.

· Answer all incoming calls within three rings and triage inquiries, transfer calls or take messages as necessary.

· Monitor and maintain all business office areas for cleanliness, including, front lobby, conference rooms, beverage stations, and administrative restroom.

· Organize incoming mail and ensure that it is distributed to the appropriate person.

· Assist in telephone inquiries in the absence of an immediately available team member in obtaining information from inquiry including at minimum call-back information.

· Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team, including greeting potential candidates and assisting them with applications and directing them to appropriate conference rooms.

· Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

· Respond to patient and or family members’ questions and concerns and share important information with the President or Vice President or other designee as appropriate.

· Presents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informs violators of policy and procedures.

· Maintains a daily and weekly log of all security monitoring.

· Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.

· Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.

· Patrols building and ensures all offices entrances and exits are appropriately locked.

· Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities as needed.

· May direct visitors and obtains signatures as needed.

· Accompanies clinical team on visits as needed and provides security while at the patient home. Ensures the clinician has safely left the home and the clinician leaves patient home in the clinician’s personal vehicle.

· Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.

· Is responsible for setting the alarm at end of shift if necessary and/or deactivating the alarm if the first one in the building.

· Perform all other duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS / PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

· Must possess a High school diploma or equivalent.

· Massachusetts Driver’s License required.

· Previous experience providing first class customer service and security protocol.

· Additional language proficiency is preferred, but not required.

· Skilled in exceptional communication with both internal and external customers.

· Demonstrates exceptional telephone etiquette.

· Demonstrable computer skills

· Must be able to lift 15 lbs.

· Must be able to stand for four hours.
