POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Development Coordinator will execute various marketing and sales functions needed to promote, coordinate, and increase revenue in the following functional areas: Domestic Sales of Core Products, Newly Developed Products, Used Equipment/Trade-In Program, Strategic Accounts, Mobile Service, Equipment Rental, and International Business Development. This individual will primarily serve and support the US Sales and Marketing program and report to the National Sales Manager. Responsible to support the overall marketing plan created by Bay Shore Systems Inc. Day-to-day functions are aimed at developing leads and influencing the market for new business opportunities and growth for Bay Shore Systems. This will include brand management, advertising strategy, digital marketing, and social media components.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To promote Bay Shore Systems, the LoDril Brand, our products, and services and our Customer Value Proposition.
  • Support National Sales Manager with “hands-on” and pragmatic marketing functions and promotions.
  • Positioning, promotions, advertising – active participation in creating new and alternative routes to the market.
  • Oversee and set up for national trade events, demonstrationsevents and support company charitable events.
  • Support Regional Trade Shows in conjunction with sales team.
  • Support Used Equipment program – promoting equipment on-line, advertising and website. Researching used market for pricing and purchase opportunities.
  • Manage all social media platforms and assist international representatives with content as needed.
  • LEAD Generation for new equipment, used equipment, mobile service, international sales, rental opportunities.
  • Design Strategies and implement tactics to ensure the sales team is continually fed with qualified leads.
  • Oversee/manage Google Ads and Analytics.
  • To assist the Service department in promotion of mobile service and training events.
  • Telemarketing and Phone Work as assigned or required.
  • E-Mail and E-Blast Promotions, and Newsletters as needed.
  • Primary and secondary market research and information ‘mining’ to support Strategic Accounts Initiative and Newly Developed Products.
  • Build and maintain collaborative internal and external client relationships & Coordinate communication between Service Department and customer base for training events.
  • Handle and create as needed company merchandising, brochures and promotional materials.
  • Potential for up to 50% Travel

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and learn quickly
  • Idea generator, creative and innovative thinker, motivated and a self-starter
  • Excellent people skills and an ability to build relationships with people at all levels
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Competence with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Microsoft products, CRM dynamics, Google Ads, Google Analytics, ZoomInfo, Dodge Data, and WordPress

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position does not require a high level of physical flexibility or strength. But, does require the ability to: see and assess drawings, photos, and written instructions; audibly hear verbal instructions and mechanical signals; and speak, read, write, and communicate effectively.

Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, equipment, hot materials, moderate to extreme noise, fumes, and airborne particles.

Must agree to wear any and all necessary personal protective equipment to include:

  • Eye protection required to reduce risk of injury.
  • Approved footwear required.
  • Ear protection is required.
  • Other PPE as necessary to perform duties
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
