Remote Proposal Manager for a private technical and engineering government contractor to oversee all phases of government proposal development, production and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct opportunity research (using tools such as GovWin, e-Pipeline, FedBizOpps, etc.) and assessment, using pre-defined criteria.
• Maintain business opportunities pipeline
• Track Request for Proposal (RFP) and proposal status
• Manage entire proposal process, including RFP distribution and review; writing assignments; kick-off, status, and review meetings; production and submittal.
• Coordinate with internal groups (i.e. contracts, accounting, and technical managers and staff to address proposal requirements).
• Coordinate/manage proposal data calls .
• Develop compliance matrices, detailed proposal plans, schedules, and outlines/templates, storyboards, and mockups to control proposal development.
• Support strategy sessions with capture managers and team members to develop win strategies and themes, identify and assesses competitors, and develops client hot buttons; including attending win/loss debriefings and develop lessons learned.
• Perform substantive reviews of both text and graphics, ensure the assigned writing sections comply with RFP requirements, contain win strategies and win themes, and complies with standard format and style criteria.
• Manage vendor registrations
• Develop and maintain project description database.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or Business Administration and 7 years of experience in the development of government proposals and marketing materials.
• Experience and ability in all phases of government proposal development and production
• Must be able to balance multiple projects and be flexible with schedule to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to contribute to the success of the company by assisting multiple groups.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and detail oriented Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point, Visio, etc.)

Pay: From $140,000.00 per year
