The Word Processor I will support a full range of the personnel security investigation submission process, from initiation to the final submission, for all members of the U.S. Army requiring eligibility for access to classified information.

Responsibilities:

• Data management in various platforms such as JPAS, DISS, and eQIP
• Support the full range of personnel security investigation process
• Analyze Background Investigation Reports
• Utilize security automation systems
• Responsible for verifying that the appropriate investigation type is submitted by the requesting organization
• Identify documentation required (resume, OF 306, fingerprints, investigation form type) to be submitted by the investigative subject and generates instructional email using the e-Quip system
• Review documentation submitted by the subject for quality and accuracy in accordance with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) requirements
• Utilize various security automation systems such as Defense Clearance and Investigative Index (DCII), Clearance Adjudication Tracking System (CATS), Unit Identification Code (UIC) databases, the Personnel Security Investigation Portal (PSIP), and the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) in order to ensure the correct submission to OPM
• Identify documentation required (resume, OF 306, fingerprints, investigation form type) to be submitted by the investigative subject and generates instructional email using the e-Quip system

Requirements:

• US citizenship
• Active Secret security clearance preferred. (Interim Secret is acceptable)
• Minimum high school diploma
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience in background investigations or data entry
