 Role Overview 

The Marketing and Product Marketing Manager will lead our efforts in connecting our product innovations with our target audiences, including investors, donors, and customers. This pivotal role involves strategic oversight of both general marketing initiatives and product marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with our business goals. You will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives, managing marketing operations, and building the marketing team toward achieving exceptional results.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that effectively bridge our products with market needs and opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.Content Development: Guide the creation of investor and donor materials, sales and customer success content, and compelling product narratives.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily marketing operations, including contractor management, event planning, and digital presence across various platforms.
  • Collateral Oversight: Ensure the continuous development and management of marketing and sales collateral, aligning with strategic marketing and sales objectives.
  • Investor & Donor Engagement: Leverage your content creation skills to support capital-raising efforts through investor pitches, donor presentations, and related materials.
  • Product Marketing Excellence: Collaborate with product teams and sales engineers to distill technical details into compelling marketing content, aiding sales and customer success efforts.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree in Marketing or an MBA is preferred.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in marketing, with a strong preference for experience in the healthcare sector and/or translation services. At least 2-3 years should be in a leadership or management role, overseeing marketing strategies and teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the healthcare industry and the specific challenges and opportunities it presents. Knowledge of medical terminology and the regulatory environment is essential. Experience in the translation or language services sector, with an appreciation for the nuances of communication across languages and cultures, is highly desirable.
  • Marketing Expertise: Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that cover both general marketing initiatives and product-specific marketing campaigns. Proven ability to craft compelling content and narratives for a variety of audiences, including healthcare professionals, patients, and international stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to collaborate closely with product teams to market technical or specialized products, particularly those related to healthcare and translation services. Must be able to understand and convey complex technical and medical concepts clearly and engagingly.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and team management abilities, with experience in mentoring staff, managing cross-functional projects, and fostering a positive, productive team environment.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills, capable of leveraging data to inform marketing strategies, optimize campaigns, and measure performance effectively.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Must be adept at building and maintaining professional relationships.
