Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Outside Sales Rep, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth within a specific geographic area in Nebraska and Iowa. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong understanding of the market and customer needs.
Duties:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking in a designated regional geographic area in proximity to Omaha
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target customers and industries
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients through regular communication and meetings
- Present product offerings and value propositions to potential customers
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms to close sales deals
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful implementation of solutions
- Provide ongoing account management to existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and identifying upsell opportunities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or related field
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close sales deals
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building long-term relationships
