Job description
Gorges Volvo is looking for a Parts Counterperson to help support our team and provide customers with exceptional experiences. The ideal candidate will flourish in a fast-paced and professional workplace. Experience with automotive parts is ideal but we are always willing to train and develop the right person!
Automotive Parts Counterperson Responsibilities:
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
- Complete special order part request for customers and service personnel
- Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information as needed
- Review body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate
- Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
- Ensure all parts are billed either to the customer or repair order
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Automotive Parts Counterperson Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
- Detail-oriented and great communication skills
- Valid driver's license
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $43,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
