Skin Dermatology is a dermatology practice located in Munster, Indiana. We are seeking an Assistant Clinic Manager to join our team. Our mission is to provide excellent patient care in a comfortable, family oriented environment.

We are seeking candidate with leadership skills, a strong drive and work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a belief in providing excellent care to patients in a professional and friendly setting.

*Medical training such a medical assistant or higher certification preferred*

This candidate will report directly to Upper Management

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Office Manager in the day to day management and function of the practice and workplace.
• At times, you will be required to fill in on the clinic floor to provide direct patient care to patients as requested by the physician. This is why medical training is preferred for this position.
• Be sensitive to patients' needs and comfort level and assist in defusing patient frustrations or addressing concerns.
• Assist with patient care.
• Assist in training newly hired staff.
• Assist in maintaining a positive and productive working environment for all staff members.
• Desire to be mentored by experienced management and providers.
• Care, compassion, and commitment to high quality customer service and patient care, and staff satisfaction.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Be willing to work occasional Saturdays.
• Assist with managerial duties as requested to best suit the needs of the practice and staff.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Completed a medical assistant or other medical training program.
• Minimum of one year experience as a medical assistant; experience in a dermatology practice is highly preferred but not required.
• Two years management experience preferred, one year required.
• Friendly, polite, and professional. Clear communication skills.
• Proficient with an EMR system, ideally EMA.
• Excellent clinical skills and desire to work in a fast-paced specialty clinic with desire to support all medical providers with operational and clinical tasks.
• Deep understanding of medical terminology and medical office workflow.
• Desire to be mentored by experienced managers and providers.
• Problem solving skills and the ability to multitask.
• Bilingual preferred, not required.
• Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills.
