Summary:

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the IT department and ensuring that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. This role involves managing IT staff, planning and executing IT projects, and ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent management skills, and the ability to align IT initiatives with business objectives.

What You’ll Do

IT Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and implement IT strategies that support the company’s business objectives.
• Plan and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.

Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Oversee the IT aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Ensure new employees have the necessary hardware, software, and access rights.
• Remove access and retrieve equipment from departing employees.

Infrastructure Management

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT systems and infrastructure.

Project Management:

• Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement and maintain IT security policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Technical Support:

• Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for IT issues.
• Manage the IT helpdesk and ensure timely resolution of user issues.

Vendor Management:

• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong project management skills with experience in overseeing IT projects.
• Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Minimum of five years of experience in IT.
• Working knowledge of scripting languages.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
